back from the birthplace of Goa Trance and Anjunabeats.
on the very first night itself we dove into Goa, with an awesome Psy trance party @ Shiva Valley, Anjuna beach. thought it cudnt get more underground than this until the next night when we came across a really shady place, decided not to go in. bumped into a place playing house though, A&B’s Sun & Moon never sounded so good, Ben met someone from B’ham and got his supply of weed.
another psy party the next night @ Curlie’s, the music was great, but the crowd wasnt as trippy as the first night.

at the wednesday Anjuna market if u stopped to look at cds, the stall owner would turn on his system and start playing psy.
i had taken alotta Anjunabeats releases as well as really old Goa Trance tracks, felt like i was on a pilgrimage.

Anjuna beach isnt the most scenic but it has a very interesting character, totally chilled in the day, and then turns into a party zone by night. the music never really stops. and wat i found most interesting were the impromptu parties. sometimes we were actually following the music to get to one.
